Challenge

BUILDING A TRUE NT BAR EXPERIENCE FOR MXGP

The brief for MXGP was to transform a bar space inside Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex into a fully realised “outback pub meets motocross” environment. The build needed to feel raw, handmade, and genuinely Territory-led, requiring large volumes of recycled materials, fast turnaround fabrication, and seamless delivery within a major, high-traffic international event.

Goal

CREATE A RAW, IMMERSIVE OUTBACK VENUE

We aimed to design a frontage and interior that acted as both a venue identity and an arrival moment for guests. The objective was to blend themed fabrication, recycled materials, and hand-painted signage to create an immersive, lived-in environment that felt true to the NT while supporting smooth bar service and event operations.

Result

A DISTINCTIVE, HAND-BUILT FESTIVAL BAR

We delivered The Holeshot Hotel using reclaimed materials, custom signage, and a full outback-inspired fit-out. Built in Alice Springs and installed in Darwin in under four days, the venue became a standout feature of Australia’s first MXGP in two decades.
