BASS IN THE GRASS

DELIVERING LARGE-SCALE BUILDS IN A REMOTE FESTIVAL SETTING this is a test
Bass in the Grass required complex custom structures delivered under tight timeframes and coordinated with multiple contractors. Working across remote logistics and high-traffic festival environments, each build needed to be visually strong, structurally safe and seamlessly integrated into the broader site plan.
ELEVATE THE FESTIVAL THROUGH SAFETY-LED, IMPACTFUL DESIGN
Our aim was to create installations that enhanced the festival’s atmosphere while remaining practical, durable and responsive to the site. The focus was on strong visual identity, efficient production and smooth collaboration with NTMEC to support audience flow and storytelling across the grounds.
CUSTOM BUILDS THAT TRANSFORMED THE FESTIVAL SITE
Across two years we delivered major installations including large bamboo stage structures, a six-metre recycled-material Jellyfish totem and an engineered shade system for the Basement Dance Floor. With 11 tonnes transported from Alice Springs and a streamlined four-day install, the project ran safely and efficiently, lifting both the festival’s functionality and overall experience.
